Original 1889 antique plate from The Illustrated London News titled 'Bird's-eye view of the Paris Exhibition buildings and grounds'.

A beautiful and incredibly detailed piece depicting the unveiling of the Eiffel Tower at the 1889 Paris World Fair.

Framed in a new gold bobbin frame with buttercream mount.

Glazed with UV-protective Plexiglass. 

53cm x 70cm including frame.

Some slight marking around central crease (as issued) and a small tear but this does not detract from the piece as a whole in any way.
